Instant Pot Apple Cider (with a bonus applesauce you didn’t see coming)
15 mins prepServes 6
This is my lazy-girl version of cider — throw it in the Instant Pot and in 20 minutes you’ve got cozy, spiced apple cider that tastes like it simmered all day. Bonus: the leftover fruit turns into applesauce without you even trying. Double win.
1. Toss everything into your Instant Pot.
2. Cook on high pressure for 10 minutes.
3. Remove the cinnamon sticks and cloves.
4. Scoop out the fruit and blend it until smooth in a food processor.
5. Strain everything through cheesecloth.
Sip the cider hot, maybe with an extra cinnamon stick or slice of apple in your mug if you’re feeling extra. Then stash that applesauce in the fridge for later — it’s seriously the best.
